As the Italian title shows, three relatively longer pieces surround two aphoristic intermezzos. The music which characteristically on the composer puts melody in the center, covers the whole range of the bassoon, flashing lyrical, scherzo-like and in the closing movement slightly virtuoso characters. The total duration of the composition is 8 minutes.
