Zoltán Kocsis whose Chopin interpretation has given so deep impression made a specific, French-like arrangement of the two compositions. He transcribed the Mazurka for flute (might be replaced by oboe), clarinet and harp, the Nocturne for flute, cor anglais (or clarinet) and harp. The edition contains flute–clarinet as well as flute–cor anglais playing scores and harp parts.
