József Sári (1935– )
Three solo works can be found in the volume. The first one belongs to the series of Novellettes written for various solo instruments, this No.8 is for flute. Epigraph also for flute was composed in the memory of Zoltán Gyöngyössy while Birdsong at Sunset can be played on piccolo. This one is dedicated to Gergely Ittzés, not only a significant flautist but the editor of the volume, too.
